West Springfield - Clara S. Wilson, 78, passed away Friday, Sept. 17, 2010, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in P.E.I., on Oct. 13, 1931, to the late Ronald and Sarah MacInnis.
She was a communicant of St. Thomas Church. An avid Red Sox fan, she enjoyed baking, crossword puzzles, and her trips back to P.E.I. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Clara leaves her loving husband John A. Wilson; her beloved children, John F. Wilson and his wife Paula of W. Spfld., Mark Wilson of Westfield, Joan Roy and husband Reynold of Haymarket, VA., and Susanne Alexopoulos and her husband Manny of Westfield; her cherished grandchildren Megan, Jessica, Sarah, George and Angelal her caring sisters, Florence Cummings of Weymouth and Edith Walker of W. Spfld.; along with several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her brothers, John, Louis and Claude and her sisters Marjorie MacDonald and Muriel O'Hanley.
There will be a 10 a.m. liturgy of Christian burial in St. Thomas Church, 47 Pine St., W. Spfld. Burial will follow in St. Thomas Cemetery.
Calling hours were held Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Toomey-O'Brien Funeral Home, 1043 Westfield St., W. Spfld.
