Passed peacefully away in the presence of her family at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, N.L., on Saturday, October 2nd, 2010. Nina Mary Thomas nee Rowsell in her 82nd, year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Daisy (Gerald Short) of Deer Lake, Yvonne (Pierce Gillingham) of Pollards Pt, Elaine (Clifford Feltham) of Reidsville, Roy (Jean) of Deer Lake, Janette (Gilbert Budden), Robert (Gaye) both of Sops Arm, Marilyn (Leighton Pittman) of Fort McMurray, Frank (Denise Beck) of Deer Lake, William (Tina) of Fort McMurray, Brian (Rosilind) of Legal, A.B., George (Colleen) of Fredericton, N.B., Danny of Deer Lake, & Wanda of Fort McMurray, her 30 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, & her brother; Don (Lillian) Rowsell of Deer Lake. Mother was predeceased by her husband; Joseph Thomas, her parents; Dora & Llewellyn Rowsell, her great grandchild; Robyn Guy, & her brothers; William & Ted Rowsell. Also leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives, family & friends. The family will be receiving family and friends from Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, today, Monday, October 4th, 2010, from the hours of 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. The funeral service will take place from the Salvation Army Church in Deer Lake on Tuesday, October 5th, 2010 at 2: pm with Majors: Wayne & Betty Ann Pike officiating with the burial to follow at the church cemetery at Wight's Road, Deer Lake, N.L.
