DURLING, David Ernest - 58 of RR#3 Wiarton, Ontario passed away suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, Ont. on Friday, September 17, 2010. Loving husband and best friend of the former Ingrid Woerl for 32 years. Father of Lisa Durling (partner Kevin Snell), of Alcona Beach; Robert Woerl (partner Gerald McEntire), of Halifax; and Devin Durling, of Fredericton. Grandfather of Kylea, Emma, Chloe, Mykala and Rowan. Devoted son of Ernie (Elizabeth), of Bridgetown, NS. Brother of Timothy and Peter, both of Bridgetown, NS, step-brother Donald Hailstone, of Halifax; and brother-in-law of Doreen (Ed Robinson), of Wilberforce, Ont. Sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his mother Carrie (nee Sarty); his daughter Chrissy; and brother-in-law William Woerl. David was a Master Corporal in the Canadian Armed Forces, concluding his career to work at the Meaford Tank Range. Celebration of David's life was at the Thomas C. Whitcroft Peninsula Chapel, Wiarton, Ontario on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 2 o'clock. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
