It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Emberley announce his passing at his residence in Kippens on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the age 64 years. He will be sadly missed by his two sons: John and Brendan, both of Fort McMurray, Alberta, two daughters: Laurie Peddle of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Sharon (Adlai) Manuel of Deer Lake, two brothers: Leo (Hattie) Emberley of Fort McMurray, Alberta, Gerald (Lillian) Penton of St. John's, one sister, Ida Emberley of Halifax, Nova Scotia, four grandchildren: Joshua Peddle, Jordan Peddle, Brandon Manuel, Abbie Manuel and a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Special thank you to his caregiver and friend Mary. He was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Norah Emberley. Friends may call Russell's Funeral Home, 57 Prince Rupert Drive, Stephenville on Monday from 2-4 pm. Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, October 19th at 10:00 am at the St. Stephen's Parish, West Street, Stephenville with Interment in the Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Hansen Highway, Stephenville.
