Passed away peacefully at Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital in St. Anthony on Oct. 12, 2010, Mr. Joseph Patey of Great Brehat, in his 77th year. Joseph leaves to mourn his brother Floyd (Pearl) Patey whom he resided with; his sisters Julia Newman and Dorcas Casey; as well as 12 nieces; four nephews, and a large circle of other family and friends who he dearly loved. Visitation was held at the funeral home, followed by the funeral on Sunday, Oct. 17 which took place at the United Church in St. Anthony with Rev. Stephanie McClellan officiating. Burial took place at the cemetery in Great Brehat. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony and Roddickton, Lee Nippard, funeral director.
