SEIDEL, Edward (Ed) passed away suddenly from complications due to a stroke on Thursday, October 21, 2010 in Royal Inland Hospital after 78 years of living life to the fullest.

Born in Vienna, Austria, Ed emigrated to Canada in 1952, settling briefly in Vancouver where he met his future wife Dora. He wisely married her in 1956. They made their way to Kamloops in 1958 where he founded Aero Developments and spent many productive years as a carpenter, land developer, and heavy equipment owneroperator. He retired in the 1990's and spent his golden years with his wife tending his beloved gardens and following his grandkids to countless hockey arenas in B.C.

Ed is survived by his wife Dora, his son James, his daughter-in-law Colleen; his grandchildren Carson, Jason, and Julianne; his sister Chris; nephews Peter and Karl; nieces Ulricka and Angelicka; and dear relations Peter, Catherine and Vanessa.

Ed was pre-deceased by his infant daughter and his brother Karl.

Friends may pay their respects at a Celebration of Life to be held at the family residence on Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at 200 p.m. (Family phone 250-573-0013).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Heart & Stroke Foundation or to a charity of choice.
