It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harold Jacobs announce his passing on Monday, June 15th, 2009 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in his 72nd year. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Joyce (nee Card); his brothers and sisters: Ellen Pittman of Stephenville, Wilfred (Irene) of South Brook, Donald (Clarice), Llewlyn (Mona) of Clarenville, Edna Jacobs of Reidville, Ruby (Wilfred) Fillier of Reidville, Calvin (Carol) of Happy Valley, Winston (Marion) of Oakwood, Ontario, Hilda (Obed Canning) of Kitchener, Ontario, Murray (Marianne) of Peterborough, Ontario, Mckiliney (Lorraine) of Ontario and Ellis (Joanne) of Chapleau, Ontario; his brother-in-law, Heber Card and sister-in-law, Diane Purchase; also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Violet and James; brothers: Claude and Ross. Visitation will take place from Parsons Funeral Home and Chapel, 63 Northmain Street, Deer Lake, today, Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. from the Pentecostal Church with Pastor Grimes officiating.
