Helen R. Rideout of Woodstock, formerly of Hartland passed away on Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville. Born in 1917 she was the daughter of the late Carl and Florence Nye. She was predeceased by her husband Donald Rideout in 2005; siblings, Hanford Nye, Orlo Nye, Francis Wright, Elizabeth Nye, Neva Tompkins and Mildred London. Helen is survived by her children, Cynthia Rideout of Woodstock, Sharon (Edward) White of Hartland; grandchildren, Kelley (Calvin) Brymer, Shelley(Dan) Cantafio, Kirk (Kim) White, Andrea (Doug) Booker; great grandchildren, Ryan Brymer, Kyle Brymer, Justin Cantafio, Janelle Cantafio, Brandon White, Kristen White, Kendra Booker, Andrew Booker; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 3:00 to 3:45 p.m. at the Britton Funeral Home, 2 High Street, Hartland followed by the funeral at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Michael Horsman officiating. Interment will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Hartland. If so desired donations can be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Upper Brighton Free Will Baptist Church. www.brittonfh.ca
