It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Johanna White announce her passing on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville, NL at the age of 86 years. She leaves to mourn with many precious memories her children: Linda (Gary) Pinsent, Pauline (Anslem) Hawkins, Gus, Anne Marie (Howard Skinner), Amy (Albert) Snook, Debbie (Tel) White, Jackie McMullen, Derek White; grandchildren: Danielle, Charles, Ashleigh, Albert, Alan, Brett, Ashton, Nichole, Katherine; great-grandchildren: Russell, Emma, Callie, Amy, Laura; sister Olive Stagg; sisters-in-law: Joyce Wiseman, Ruby Wiseman, Rowena Wiseman, Sandra Lockyear Wiseman, Sadie White as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Augustus; parents Charles and Amy Wiseman; brothers: Edward, Harold, Max, Ken, Gord and sister Lizzie. Visitation will take place from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, St. George’s on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where the Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will take place following the Mass in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Court House Road, St. George’s. To honour Mary’s request cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
