It is with great sadness that the family of the late Albert MacLeod announce his passing at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home on Tuesday, December 7th, 2010 at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Elizabeth; children: Shirley (Eric) Dawe and Austin Pink; grandchildren: Roy, Darlene, Sandra, Andrew and Stephen; great-grandchildren: Chelsea, Cody, Ashley and Ethan, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by parents Peter and Martha MacLeod; brothers: Henry, Daniel, Lyle and John; sisters: Naomi, Myrtle, Lucy and Effie; daughters-in-law: Rosalind and Sylvia. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, December 9th at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church in Curling with Reverend Karen Laldin officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of one's choice.
