It is with sadness that the families of the late James (Jim) Douglas Paul announce his passing at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Centre, Grand Falls-Windsor, NL, aged 71. Jim is predeceased by his parents, Douglas and Fanny Paul; brothers, Ivan, Lloyd, Ross & Laverne; father and mother-in-law, Ralph and Myrtle Kinden; niece Rowena Sheppard. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are; wife, Evelyn; daughter, Trudy (Tony) Collins; son, Terence (Melissa);grandchildren, Anthony, Nadea, Ethan, and Jaxson; brothers, Andrew(Barbara), Ralph (Patsy), William (Bernadette), Roy (Shelley), and Frank (Paula); sisters, Louise (Cecil) Jewer, Ella (George) Decker, Maisie (Austin) Jewer, Joan (Scott) Butler, Eve (Junior)Thompson, Maureen (Stephen) Hobbs, Anita (James)Rice, Joy (Wavell) Peddle, and Lynette; sister-in-law Joan (Bramwell) Rowsell; step-mother, Verbena Brenton; brother-in-law, Scott (Ruth) Kinden; sister-in-laws, Shirley (William)Sheppard, Bonnie (Dave)Woodworth, and, Carol (Robert) Kirby; dearest friends, Clar and Verna Young, and Eva Skiffington; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and a very large circle of friends. The funeral service took place December 13, 2010 at 2 pm from the Salvation Army Citadel, Pt. Leamington, NL with Pastor Jeff Green officiating. The interment took place at The Pentecostal Cemetery, Pt. Leamington, NL. Flowers were greatly accepted as well donations in his memory were made to the family. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Botwood Funeral Home.
