It is with great sadness that the family of the late Emma Mastin announce her passing on Thursday, June 25th, 2009, at her sons residence in Deer Lake at the age of 92. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her loving son Michael, daughter-in-law Ada, granddaughter Amanda, and her sister-in-law Joyce Mastin of England. She will be sadly missed by a large circle of family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Charles Mastin, and her grandson David Mastin. Friends may visit Fillatres Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Friday and Saturday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 28th at 2 PM from St. Michaels & All Angels Anglican Church with Canon John Meade officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery, Wight’s Road. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
