Wood, Genevieve Fay - 78, Amherst, passed away Tuesday, January 4 with her loving family by her side. Born in River Hebert, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Hestel (Smith).
Genevieve worked for many years for Bell Canada in Oshawa, Ontario. She was caring, giving and supportive to all her family.
Survived by sister, Gertrude Boudreau, Amherst; many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews; and cousins. Predeceased by sisters, Doreen Middleton, Bernice Davidson; brothers, Frank, Darrel, Reginald.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of A. L. Mattatall Funeral Home, Dartmouth.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Donations in memory of Genevieve may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or to a charity of your choice. She will be greatly missed.
