The death of Thérèse Durelle of Dieppe, NB and formerly of Baie Ste. Anne, NB widow of Yvon Durelle occurred Friday, January 7, 2011 at the Dr. George Dumont Hospital, Moncton, NB, at the age of 76. Born in Baie Ste. Anne, NB, Thérèse was the daughter of the late Edward and Roseanne (Martin) Robichaud. Thérèse was a homemaker, member of the Golden Age Seniors Club and belonged to the Charismatic Group at Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church.
Thérèse is survived by two daughters: Geneva LaPierre (Ralph) of Moncton, NB and Francine Kipling (Mike) of Winnipeg MB; two sons: Yvon Jr. (Beau) (Paulette) of Fredericton, NB and Paul (Donna) of Moncton, NB; six grandchildren: Jennifer, Steven, Erica, Chantal, Russell and Beverley; one great grandson: Colton and several nieces and nephews. Thérèse is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Predeceased by two sisters: Celine and Laurinda; four brothers: Aurel, Ireneé, Edgar and Thomas.
At Thérèse's request there will be no visitation. A public Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 @ 2 PM with Father Jean Bernard Mallais officiating.
Burial will take place in Baie Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Cemetery later in the spring.
