The death of George Alexander Keith occurred unexpectedly on January 8, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Beloved husband of Norma, dad to Dr. Kathy, Joanne, Allan and daughter in law Marie. Papa to Margaret, Gillian, Alexander and Colin. Born in 1925, he served overseas during World War II, and graduated from the University of New Brunswick as an Engineer. He was retired from Moosehead Breweries. Besides his immediate family, he is survived by sisters; Zena (Fred) Colwell; Jean (Delbert) Alward and brother Norman (Joan) Keith. He was predeceased by his parents Spurgeon and Addie (Alward) and his brother Harold.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506-634-7424). At his own request there will be no visitation. A Graveside Service will take place in Fernhill Cemetery on this Tuesday at 1 PM for family and friends, gathering to follow at his home.
