Passed suddenly away at his home in Gaultois on Friday, January 21, 2011, Mr. Harold Abbott, age 82 years. Leaving to mourn his loving family: four daughters, Annabelle (Thomas Simms) at Fortune, Beulah (Matthew Piercey) at Bridgewater, NS, Sharon (Sam Smith) at Saskatchewan and Bessie (Corwin Meade) at Gaultois; son, Wayne (Christine) at Sandyville; thirteen grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; sister in law, Mrs. Abigail Kendall at Sandyville, plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Alice; son, Berkley; parents, Henry and Bessie Abbott; step brothers, John, Maxwell and William; sister, Elizabeth Rose; step sisters, Winnifred and Martha. Funeral service was held from St. Luke's Anglican Church in Gaultois on Tuesday, January 25, 2011, at 11:00 am with Rev. Charles Harris officiating.
