Darlene Bontaine passed away on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the age of 95 years. She joins her devoted husband of fifty-three years, Robert Bontaine. Darlene and Robert spent their early years in Saint John, New Brunswick. They later moved to Calgary to reside with their daughter and to be closer to their family. Darlene will always be remembered by her daughter, Elizabeth Fielding; four grandchildren, Alex (Lori), Rylia (Spencer), Myles (Baukje), and Scotia; four great-granddaughters, Kiera, Tineisha, Suraya, and Tianna; as well as our special extended family, Brandy (Baldev), Sierra, Jazzvir, Rosemin, and Ravi.
Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North, Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Rocky View Memorial Gardens.
