May 3, 1919 - February 12, 2011

On Saturday, February 12, 2011 Mary White (Henderson) passed away peacefully at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, BC at the age of 91.

She will be fondly remembered by son Grant (Bonnie), granddaughter Jodi (Chris), great granddaughter Myah, great grandson Evan (who was born on her birthday) all of Kamloops, and many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Joseph, brothers Joseph & George, sisters Flora King, Emily Dagg & Margaret Brooke, father Charles, mother Annie.

Mary was born in Nokomis, Sk., on May 3, 1919. She married Joseph White in 1942, son Grant was born in 1944. Mary grew up in Saskatchewan and after she married they farmed in Dodsland and lived in Kindersley. They moved to Cranbrook, BC in the early 70's where she lived until 2007 when she moved to Kamloops, BC to be closer to her family. She was active in the United Church & Rebekah Lodge & volunteered at the Thrift Shop while in Cranbrook. Mary was a avid golfer until 2010. She lived at Shores Retirement Residence in Kamloops and took an active part in activities. She loved to bake and share with family & friends at the Shores.
There will be a Memorial Service at a later date in Cranbrook, BC.
