Francis Bernard Kelly of 41 Teeds Mill passed away on Friday, February 18, 2011 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital, Fredericton. He was born in Bryenton, NB, on August 21, 1920, to the late Phillip and Molly (Taylor) Kelly. He served in WW11 and resided in Bryenton and Chatham until 1991, when he moved to Woodstock. In October 2009, he moved to the Veterans’ Health Unit (DVA), Fredericton. Survived by daughter, Penny Wilson (Robert), Delta BC; son Darrell (Donna), Teeds Mill; grand-children, Kelly and Scott Wilson; Brice, Tara, Kyle, and Colin Kelly; great grand-daughter, Adisyn; and great grandson Elijah, brother in law Charles Hachey, sister in law Myrtle Guay and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Libby, brother, Murdock (Betty); sisters, Helen (Willie) Farrah and Lauretta Hachey.
No visitation, by request. Funeral Mass was celebrated on Monday, February 21 at 11:00 am. at St Gertrude’s Catholic Church, Woodstock, with Father John Keoughan officiating. Interment will be at a later date at the Millerton Catholic Cemetery, Miramichi, NB. Expressions of sympathy were made to CNIB or a memorial of the donor’s choice.
