It is with great sadness that the family of the late Arthur Chaffey announces his passing on Tuesday, March 1st, 2011 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Home at the age of 73 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories: two sisters: Marguerite Chaffey (John Klassen), St. Catherine’s, ON and Linda Borden (Wayne), Corner Brook; two nephews: Sean Chaffey (Glenda Richard), Tantallon, NS and Ian Chaffey (Penney), Eastern Passage, NS; two nieces: Leigh Borden (Dale Kirby), St. John’s and Susan Borden (Ken Johnston), Burlington, ON; as well as other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents: Arthur and Lenetta Chaffey; and infant brother Eric Chaffey. Friends may visit St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in St. David’s on Friday from 10:00 A.M. to 12 noon; from where the Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Reverend Terry Rose officiating. Interment to follow at the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to St. Michael’s and All Angels Roofing Fund.
