Passed away suddenly after an accident on Feb. 24, 2011. Alonzo Way of Savage Cove, NL, age 53 years. Alonzo leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories wife Judy; daughter Laura; son Mitchell (Trisha); precious grandson Lucas; brothers Earl (Wavy and family) and Melvin (Gloria and family); mother-in-law Sarah; sister-in-law Joy (Wayne and family); brother-in-law Darryl (Kim and family), and will be missed by an extended range of family and friends. Alonzo was predeceased by his parents Llewellyn and Dulcie Way, his brother Harrison, father-in-law George, and brother-in-law Matthew. Family visitation was held at Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Home, St. Anthony followed by cremation. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 2 at St. Mark’s Anglican Church in Savage Cove with Rev. Canon Hubert Vallis officiating. Interment followed in the Sandy Cove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Kerry M. Fillatre Funeral Homes, St. Anthony and Roddickton.
