It is with great sadness that we, the family, announce the passing of Richey Jury on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at Richmond Ville after his long battle with Alzheimer’s. Born in Joggins, NS, he was the son of the late William and Evelyn
(O’Brien) Jury.
Richey was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt, he loved the local flea market for which he never missed a Sunday, and enjoyed a “Richey sized fries” from his favorite chip wagon.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sandra (Jardine) of 49 years; sons, Rickey and Jamie, both of New Victoria; daughters, Sandi (Ron), New Victoria and Dale Bryant, Ontario; eldest brother, Edward (Margie) Jury; sisters, Mary (Jack) Rowlands, Eunice Doherty and Gail (Lennie) Barrington; four grandchildren, James (Sam), Ryan, Felisha and Marley; great-grandchild, Ally; sisters-in-law, Jackie; brothers-in-law, Wally (Willena) and Harold; as well as many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews;
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Dorothy (Ray) and brother-in-law, Bernie; his in-laws, Bob and Frances Jardine; sister-in-law, Joyce; brother-in-law, Eddie, and nephew, Bruce.
Cremation has taken place. A chapel service will be held today, June 8, 2017 at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Duncan Roach officiating.
