Passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family, Norman Rose at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Sunday, June 25, 2017 at the age of 78 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 55 years Mary; children: Eric (Lori), Melita Ann (Rick) and Donna (Junior); daughter-in-law Pauline; grandchildren: Cynthia, Keith, Adam, Bradley, Colin, Matthew, Andrew, Isaac, Liam and Mary Ann; great-grandchildren: Parker, Kurt, Mason and Isabella; 5 brothers and 7 sisters; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son Norman, grandson Jonah, parents Thomas and Mary Ann, sisters Beatrice and Myrtle. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Monday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Cremation to follow.
