The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Friday, June 30th, 2017 of Henry “Hub” LeClair of Summerside, aged 71 years. Hub was born in Summerside, P.E.I. to the late Ernest and Bella (nee Arsenault) LeClair. Loving father of Crystal (Derrick) Gardiner, Laurie (Doug Dawson) LeClair and their mother Eileen LeClair. Special partner Sylvia Thompson and her children Bonnie (Kenny) Cameron and Sherri (Randy) Warren. Also lovingly remembered by his 9 grandchildren Amanda (Jeff), Dannielle (Tyler), Matthew, Benjamin, Parker, Beau, Shaina, Ethan and Taylor, 2 great grandchildren Xander and Rohan. He will be missed by his best friends John (Ann) Gaudet and Ollie Rodd. Survived by the following sisters Dolly Gallant, Joan (Murray) Decker, Mickey (Lorne) Brayley and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Hub was predeceased by his brothers Ralph and Skip, sister Zita (Erskine) Cahill and brothers in-law Bunny Gallant and Carl Stark. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday July 4th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Hub’s memory to the PCH Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
