It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of a loving husband, devoted dad and wonderful brother and friend. Randy passed away peacefully at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital ICU on Sunday, July 2, 2017. Randy was the son of the late Clair (Murphy) and Bill Donohue and was born August 14, 1963.
Randy was the owner of “Randy Donohue Automotive Electric” for the past 12 years. It was his dream to have his own business, he loved what he did and was proud of his work, as well as his family was proud of him.
Randy was the most patient and giving person and through his years with different health problems he never complained.
Surviving are his wife, Sue (Burke); sons, Aaron and Jordan, at home; sisters, Ann (Gerry) McEachern, New Victoria and Gail (Henry) Digero, also of New Victoria; mother-in-law, Teresa Burke; brother-in-law, Dale; sister-in-law, Sheila; nieces Stacy, Laura, Jaquline, Hannah, Cori Leah and Tanya, and nephews, Jamie, Devin and Jerry.
He was predeceased by his parents, Clair and Bill Donohue; father-in-law, Ray Burke, and nephew, Noel McIsaac.
Randy will never be forgotten. He was the kindest most giving man. His boys were the light of his world and his wife Sue of almost 29 years.
Cremation has taken place. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Randy’s life will be held on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at 10 a.m. in the Parish of St. Leonard with Fr. Ray Huntley officiating. Burial in Mount Carmel Cemetery followed by a luncheon at the parish hall, Convent Street, all are welcome.
