Passed peacefully away at his residence in Conception Bay South on Thursday, July 13, 2017, in his 85th year. Cecil was a Retired Teacher and Guidance Counselor at Queen Elizabeth High School, Foxtrap. He was also an author and published four books. Cecil served the CBS Lions Club for 45 years as a Member, President and District Governor. He was an active member of All Saints Parish, Foxtrap and the community where he served in many volunteer roles. Predeceased by his wife Shirley 2015, parents George and Effie, brothers Wilson and Ronald. Left with fond and loving memories, his daughter Debra Nagle (Gary). Also a large circle of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Friday from 7-9 pm, Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Service to take place on Sunday, July, 16, 2017 at 2 pm from All Saints Anglican Church, Foxtrap. Cremation to follow.
