Passed peacefully away on Thursday, July 13, 2017, George Denty, age 87 years. Predeceased by his sister Shirley (Clyde) Reid and Grace (William) Heath, R.N. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his devoted and loving wife of 54 years Ina (nee Peckham); sister Marie (Eric - deceased) Parsons; nieces and nephews: Wayne (Marie) Heath, Wade (Lorraine) Reid, Maxine (Jerome) Baker, Jeanette (Derek) Ducey, Ian (Nicole) Parsons and Andrea Lyons; sister-in-law Muriel (Gerry) Attwood; great-nieces and nephews, extended relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Ave., Mt. Pearl on Saturday, July 15, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. from Barrett's Chapel, Mt. Pearl. Cremation to follow. Interment will be held on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 10 a.m., Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
