On July 13, 2017 Patricia (Pat) Margaret Greene nee Hedrich passed away peacefully at the age of 67. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband Robert of 51 years; daughters Kathy Kramer (Tom); Leslie Mallen (Todd); son Robert Greene (Janet); grandchildren Jordan Kramer (Raquel); Joel Kramer (Aurelie); Lindsay Mallen (Brody); and Kelsi Mallen (Joshua). Besides her loving family Patricia is survived by her siblings, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, George and Margaret Hedrich and brother Rick.

Pat was born in Kitchener, Ontario on November 7, 1949. She moved to Labrador City, Newfoundland in 1963 where she met and married the love of her life and began raising three beautiful children. In 1974, with courage and perseverance, Pat and her family moved to the Elk Valley where she resided until her passing.

Pat had a passion for music - especially the guitar and organ. She was a member of the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) since 1966. Pat was a past choir member of Holy Family Parish and assisted with their youth choir. She lived a traditional life as a stay at home mom to her three children. She loved to cook and bake and was an advocate for celebrating each and every special occasion with family, which provided many fond memories. Pat adored spending time with her family and will be truly missed by all.

At Pat’s request, there will be no funeral service held. Should family and friends desire, donations may be made in Pat’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Kidney Foundation.
