It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we, the family, regret to announce the tragic passing of our beloved daughter, Dana Marie Jessome on Friday, July 14, 2017, at the Halifax Infirmary, surrounded by her loving family.
Dana had the biggest heart, and was always there to lend a helping hand. Her biggest passion was music and her love for basketball.
She is survived by her loving parents, Darrell and Brenda (MacIntyre) Jessome; her sister, Marissa, whom she dearly adored; grandparents, Norman and Thelma (MacDougall) MacIntyre; paternal grandmother, Sylvia (Williams) Jessome. Also left to mourn are many aunts, uncles and cousins, and special friends, Chelsea and Amanda, and waiting for her with open arms is Megan Dugas.
Dana was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Francis Jessome.
Visitation for Dana Jessome will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2017, in J. M. Jobes Funeral Home, 635 Main St., Sydney Mines, from 1-3 p.m.
A celebration of her life will take place Wednesday at 3 p.m. in Holy Family Church, Sydney Mines, with Fr. James Oliver officiating.
