It is with heavy hearts that the families of Lloyd James Thompson announce his passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, in Corner Brook, NL, on Friday, July 21st, 2017, at the age of 81 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Mildred nee Avery of 59 years marriage, his children: Tony (Ginette) of Nova Scotia, Margaret (Ronnie) of Labrador City, Darlene (Kevin) of Deer Lake, Marilyn (Mike) of Fort McMurray, and Sterling (Joanne) of Ivany's Cove, his grandchildren: Justin, Mason, Kelsey, Kassandra, Kayla, Devon, Alison, Ashley, Bryan, Emily, and Emmanuel, his great grandchildren; Kale, Petyon, Leah, Larry, Jacob, and Jaidyn, his sisters; Lucy Austin, Stella Rendell, and Joyce Lamb (Allen) all of Toronto, Lloyd was predeceased by his son Benjamin Thompson, his parents: Nanimo and Benjamin Thompson, also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives', extended families and friends. The family will be receiving family and friends at Parsons Funeral Home & Chapel 63 North Main Street, Deer Lake, NL, on Monday, July 24th, 2107 from the hours of 12:00 - 1:30 pm, where also the memorial service to take place on Monday, July 21st, 2017, at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Randell officiating.
