The death of Anne Doreen Mitchell age 94 of Amherst and formerly of Boston, USA occurred Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Northumberland Hall, Amherst, NS.
Born in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (Vincent) Mitchell.
Annie worked as a Librarian in the Newton Centre Library, Mass. USA for 40 years. She is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Annie is predeceased by her siblings Elizabeth Riley, Mabel Robertson, Josephine Cudhea, Maude Simone, Emily Thornton, James, William and John “Jack” Mitchell.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Christ Church, Amherst with Rev. Will Ferrey officiating.
Interment will follow in Christ Church Cemetery, Amherst.
