Passed peacefully away at the Veteran's Pavilion, St. John's, on Friday, July 28, 2017, Lillian E. Babb of Harbour Grace, age 88 years. Predeceased by: husband: William; grandson: Aiden; great-grandson: Blake; parents: Harry and Clarice Soper; brothers: Bill, Harry, Charles, Donald, Ken, and Lloyd. Left to mourn, one daughter: Barbara Peddle (Len Phair), St. John’s; five sons: William 'Bill' (Karen), Hr. Grace, Robert (Colleen), Mt. Pearl, Howard (Kim), Ottawa, ON, Stephen (Michelle), Ottawa, ON, and David (Clancey), Grand Bank; six grandchildren: Jonathan (Krista), Kimberly (Nelson), Gregory, Daniel (Karen), Douglas and Ellen; five great-grandchildren: William, James, Norah, Emma, and Jesse; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace. Rev. Moses Tucker conducted the Funeral Service on Monday, July 31 at St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Hr. Grace.
