HIGGINS (McNutt), Eunice Blanche – 96, Truro, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2017. Eunice is survived by her children, Buddy (Reginald Jr. and Ann), Dawn (Gina and Pete Netherway) and Jim; grandchildren, Troy (Wendy) Higgins, Tracy Higgins, Tobi (Monty) Netherway, Mason, Chad Netherway, Drew (Heather) Higgins, Courtney Higgins, Nick (Sarah) Robichaud; great grandchildren, Ashley and Ryan Higgins, Tacoma Higgins Grant, Chevelle Mahar, Jayden Higgins, Jaida Higgins and Kodi Mason. She was predeceased by her husband, Reg; mother and father, Blanche (Reid) and James McNutt; brother, Russell; sisters, Helen and Gladys; youngest brother, James Jr.; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Georgina and Muir Higgins and other family members and friends. Mom was born in Brookside, Colchester County, and grew up in Truro and surrounding area (with a brief time spent in Boston, Massachusetts) and was a member of First Baptist Church. All are welcome to attend a graveside interment service that will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, August 20, 2017, at Watson Cemetery, across from 1908 Prince Street, Truro. If so desired, donations in Eunice’s memory to a charity of choice are welcomed. Arrangements have been entrusted to Mattatall – Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
