Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, August 26, 2017, H. Alton Turnbull of Victoria, age 73 years. Predeceased by parents: Walter and Jessie Turnbull; brothers: Eric, Bill and Fred; sisters: Delphine, Racheal, and Lillian. Left to mourn, wife: Elsie; two daughters: Kimberley Craig, New York, USA and Josephine Turnbull, Carbonear; one son: Harvey Turnbull, Tumbler Ridge, BC; seven grandchildren; two brothers: Cliff, Nova Scotia and Harris (Sharon), Victoria; two sisters: Agnes Bizarred and Julie Brown, both of Ontario; brother-in-law: Norman Roberts, Labrador; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Rested at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Pastor Darren Norman conducted the Funeral Service on Tuesday, August 29 at Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria.
