Coreen Louise Proudfoot

Coreen Louise Proudfoot – 71, Debert, passed away August 26, 2017 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro. Born in New Glasgow, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Spears) White. Coreen grew up in Isaac’s Harbour and moved to Toronto to work at a young age. She owned and operated Coreen’s Restaurant in Keswick, Ontario. After 20 years, she moved back to Nova Scotia to work, settling down in Debert, N.S., with her husband Joe Williams. She had a great love for camping and boating. Most of this time was spent in Country Harbour with family and special friends. Coreen especially enjoyed time spent with her special friend, Dexter. She will be greatly missed by all those whose hearts she touched. She is survived by her husband, Joe Williams; sister, Judy (David) Cameron; nephew, Jeff Cameron; nieces, Susan Cameron and Tracey Mattinson. Besides her mother, she was predeceased by step father, William White; brother, Gary Proudfoot; father in law, Joe Williams. Special thanks is extended to the CEHHC Palliative Care Unit. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 9 at 2pm in the Debert Legion, 1252 Masstown Rd., Debert.
