Passed away peacefully September 6th, 2017, at Pleasantview Towers, in the presence of loving family, at the age of 85. Leaving to mourn: her husband of 63 years (September 5th, 1954), Charles O'Reilly; her six children Patsy (Derrick Dymond), Linda (Michael Maynard), Sandy (Sean Kavanagh), Gloria (Wayne Mahon), Brenda (Craig Flynn) and Shawn (Kelly Budden); her sister and card-playing companion Marie Rickert (Ron, d.); sisters-in-law Joan (John Scott) and Margie Radford (Gerry, d.); her grandchildren Carl (Meghan), Gary (Renee), Stephen (Daniel), Cheryl, Jennifer, Kathryn, Liam, Emily (Scott), Siobhan (Matt), Sara (Patrick), Olivia (Josh) and great-grandchildren Owen, Kayleigh (her mother Lori), Abby, Jack, Kate, Charlotte, and Isaac, were the joy of her life; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Predeceased by sisters Beatrice (Ed Shea), Eileen (Edmond Bishop), brother Cyril Harvey (Mary) and close sister-in-law Ann Roe. Theresa enjoyed life to the fullest, making many friends along the way through her work at the Holy Trinity school cafeteria, catering, and at O'Reilly's Pub. She had a vivacious spirit, welcoming nature, and caring personality. All who met her felt warmed by her smile. She is well remembered for her love of dancing and music. She gave so much love to others and received so much in return. She was known for her social nature, and had a wonderful ability to bring people together, to her dying days. We would like to thank the staff of 2North East who became a part of Theresa's family over the last two years. Their love and care made a difference to us and her life; and to the staff of 2 North West for showing Theresa compassion and care during her last days. Visitation will be held at Caul's Funeral Home, Torbay from 6-9 p.m. on Thursday, September 7th and 10 a.m. - 9 p.m. Friday, September 8th. Mass will be held at Holy Trinity Parish on Saturday September 9th at 10 a.m., with interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Bauline Line, Torbay. Flowers, donation to Alzheimer's society or donation to a charity of your choice graciously accepted in Theresa's memory.
