Taken too soon on Tuesday, September 5th, 2017, Andrea Caroline Powell aged 40 years. Andrea shone a light on everyone who knew her. Her giving heart, contagious smile, and love of the small things in life will forever be with us. In her death she was a superhero by saving a life through organ donation. Left with fond and loving memories to mourn is her devoted husband Jason Kelly; two children Ryan and Jeremy; parents Calvin & Elizabeth Powell; brother Calvin Jr. (Krista); in-laws Francis & Linda Kelly; brothers-in-law Mark (Kerri) Kelly, Stephen (Jill) Kelly; nieces & nephews Kara, Bryony, Mya, Lennox, Hawthorne, Francis, and Daniel; as well as a large group of family and friends. A special thanks to Dr. Greg Manning, Dr. Roger Avery, and an extra special thanks to nurse Ann Marie and the entire Health Sciences Centre ICU team. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road, St. John's. Visitation on Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 pm and 6-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, September 11th, 2017 at 2 pm from the Basilica of St. John the Baptist. Interment to follow at the R.C. Cemetery, Bauline Line. Flowers are accepted or a donation may be made in her memory to the Health Care Foundation Peaceful Port Project.
