It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Isabella Clarke, on September 6, 2017 in her 91st year, formally of Brooklyn, Bonavista Bay, died peacefully at her home with loving family at her side. Predeceased by her husband Harold Roy (1997), parents Gertrude and Francis Hancock, brother Bob (1997) and his wife Mary (2013), grandson Steven Clarke (1996) and son-in-law Randy Hillier (2014). Leaving to mourn sons Francis, Paul (Shirley), Lloyd (Donna), Glenn (Debbie); daughters Diane Gallagher (Pat), Judy (Guy), Linda Steele (Greg) and Janet Hillier; 24 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and special friends Bill and Gwen Hoskins. Resting at Barrett's Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue. Visitation will be held at Barrett's Funeral Home on Saturday, September 9th at 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service to be held Monday, September 11th at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
