It is with loving hearts and profound sadness that we announce the passing of Todd Michael Manning, who passed away at 53 years of age, in Edmonton, Alberta. Todd was predeceased by his father, Gerard Manning, his brother-in-law Fred Moffitt and members of the Manning, Brennan and Culleton families. He leaves to mourn his passing and celebrate his life, his loving mother, Monica of St. John's; his sister Anne Manning-Moffitt of Gander and her stepchildren Andrew & Sarah; his brother Glenn and his wife Sylvie and their children Rachel & Olivia of Courtice, Ontario. Todd also leaves behind a circle of family and friends who will remember him with love. Todd was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Todd's life began in Labrador City on January 19th, 1964, when he was born to Gerard and Monica Manning. Upon completion of high school in Labrador City Todd joined the Canadian Armed Forces. After several years of service Todd left the military and moved to Alberta. There he completed the study and the training required to become a Red Seal Journeyman Electrician and Welder. Todd was a beloved son, brother, brother-in-law and uncle who lived his life to the fullest and always on his own terms. He had a life of work and adventure. He loved outdoor sports and enjoyed traveling to some of the "off the beaten path" places in the world. Until we all meet again, in the world to come, we will forever hold our loveable little blonde haired, blue eyed son / brother in our hearts. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, September 15 from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Service to take place from Caul's Chapel on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 2 p.m. Internment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Topsail Road. As expressions of sympathy, flowers will be gratefully accepted or a charitable donation may be made to a charity of one's choice.
