Passed peacefully away on Friday, September 15, 2017, Cyril Joseph Guiney of Goulds, age 86. Predeceased by his parents John and Anne; sisters Elizabeth (Stan) Fowler, Teresa (James) Cahill and Bernadette (Jack) Curtis along with his brother Leo. Leaving to mourn his loving wife of 60 years, Marie (Finn); his six devoted sons and their families, Jack (Carol), Jacqueline, David and Katie; Pat (Donna), Sarah and Patrick; Jim (Brenda), Lauren; Ron (Kathy), Emily and Heather; Mike (Suzanne), Olivia, Hannah and Eva; and Joe (Tammy), Liam and Gabe; as well as six great-grandchildren. Also leaving to mourn, his brother Charles (Ethnea) and sister-in-law Josephine; many extended members of the Finn family; nieces, nephews and a wide circle of friends. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Sunday from 7-9 pm and Monday from 10 am - 12 pm, 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place a 10 am on Tuesday, September 17, 2017 from St. Kevin's Church, Goulds. Interment will follow at St. Kevin's Cemetery. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Cyril's memory may be made to the Parkinson's Society of Newfoundland Labrador.
