The family of the late James “Buddy” Morgan would like to express our sincere thanks to our family and friends who supported us with such love and kindness during Buddy’s illness and passing. We are truly grateful to those who phoned, visited, sent food, flowers, cards, monetary donations, and their condolences. We will forever cherish the personal notes, which brought us great comfort. Thank you to our wonderful neighbors, especially Leo and Mona Nickelo and Wayne and Loretta MacKenzie, who are always there for us.
Thank you to Glace Bay General Hospital Lab staff, security staff, and especially to Laurel Beth Smith, who became a friend over the years of treating Buddy. Thank you to Dr. Jean Crosby and Wendy for years of care and kindness, and to Dr. Mary Ann Campbell, for the extraordinary compassion she showed to Buddy and to us. Thank you to Dr. Steven Couban, and to the Cape Breton Regional Hospital ER Staff. To the nurses on 4D, especially Simon, we will never forget you and the wonderful way you cared for Buddy.
To the staff of Shoppers Drug Mart, Glace Bay, Sobeys, Glace Bay, the girls at Thom’s Flowers, thank you; your help, support, and kindness over the last few years will never be forgotten. Thank you to Lotherington’s Flowers for the beautiful arrangements.

A special thank you to Buddy’s sister, Joan Burton, for being there for us always. Your visits, chats, and laughs with Buddy brightened his day, and your love and support continues to brighten ours.
