After much suffering, it is with sorrowful relief, that the family of Norah Molloy (Kennedy), announce their beautiful mother's passing, September 18, 2017, age 89. Our mother will join her beloved husband, Leo Joseph Molloy; her cherished grandson, Lee Campbell; her parents, Thomas and Josephine Kennedy; siblings, Sr. Mary Edmund, William, Cyril, and Annie (Pennell); and friends, Betty McNiven and Theresa Kennedy. She will be missed by her children who thought the world of her, Ignatius (Georgina), Thomas (Margie), Hugh (Carol Ann), Josephine (Mike Pomroy), Jacqueline (John Rorke), Christine (Ken McKinnon) and Jacinta (Lou Shelling); her grandchildren, Erin Molloy (Chris Boulos and their daughter, Joni Kennedy Boulos), Bernard (Elise Bouchard and their son, Maxime Nicolas Molloy), Jacob and Emma Pomroy, Martha and John Ennis (and their father, John Ennis), Lenora Shelling (and her dog, Brutus). Special friends and relatives, Billy Pennell, Ed and Erin Pennell, Sheila Waddleton, Adele McNiven, Sister Rosie Kennedy, Father Wayne Dohey, Emma Linehan, Marie Atwell, Carolyn King, her friends at Riverhead Towers, her friends at St. Patrick's Parish, and so many more will also miss her fun-loving spirit. Thanks to our friends and the Molloy and Kennedy families that helped and supported us throughout this difficult year. Much gratitude is extended to the most excellent medical team and staff at the Miller Centre Palliative Care Unit, to the caregivers at Cambridge Estates and to Heather MacDonald with the City of St. John's. Norah will be resting at Caul's Funeral Home, Lemarchant Road on Wednesday, September 20 and Thursday, September 21 from 2pm to 4 pm and 7pm to 9pm each day. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11am from St. Patrick's Church. Interment will follow at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery.
