Gamble, Verna A. – Truro, daughter of Percy and Hattie Henderson passed away peacefully at Valley View Villa, Riverton, N.S. Verna was predeceased by husbands Raymond Smith, Elroy Mosher, and Walter Gamble; sons, Donald Smith, Douglas Mosher; sister, Pauline Pyke; brother, Harold Henderson. She is survived by brother, Donald Henderson; children, Leanne O’Laughlin (Clifford), Brent Mosher (Kathy), Karen Stensaker (Colin), Cindy Smith, Shelley Driscoll; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren. Verna had many interests. She loved the piano and played at Masstown United Church. She spent many peaceful hours gardening in which she took much pride. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro with Rev.
