Passed away suddenly on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, Robert John Murphy, age 60, at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital. Predeceased by his mother Alice; father Henry; brothers Francis and Joe; sister Mary; father-in-law Jim; sister-in-law Freida; brother-in-law Jackie Lee; nieces Heather Silver and Angela Burke and nephew Glen Lee. Leaving to mourn with loving memories is his wife Lorraine; son Josh; brothers Henry (Toni); Gerald (Bev); sisters Joan (Ron Perchard), Sheila (Tony Silver), Patricia "Tish" (Cecil Harrigan); mother-in-law Rose; sisters-in-law Maureen (Craig Baker) and Arlene (Gerry Burke); brother-in-law Ken (Debbie); special family friend Doug Halleran; and a large circle of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends who all meant the world to him. All of whom have special memories of their uncle Bob. Resting at Caul's Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road on Friday, September 22 from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place from Corpus Christi Church on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Bob was a big presence in everyone's life with a loud roar, a hearty laugh and an extra big heart of gold.
