It is with great sadness that the family of the late Owen Legge announce his passing on Friday, September 22, 2017, at the age of 92 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Vera; daughters: Diane Legge, Paulette Legge Pearson (Zeke), Beverley Legge, Holly Legge, Cheryl Legge Canning (Andy); son David Legge (Pauline); grandchildren: David Legge Jr. (Trina), Amanda Normandeau (Dave), Jennifer Thomas (Travis), Alex, and Brendan Canning, Terry-Lynn, Lacey, and Shane Osmond; sister Mae Head (Woodrow); loving great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law Dianne Legge and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Owen didn't live a large life, but he lived it as he wanted, camping, fishing and pulling pranks, telling stories, sometimes tall! He loved spending time with his family. He was predeceased by his son Gary Legge. Visitation will take place from Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Monday, September 25th from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 26th at 2 PM from All Saints Anglican Church Clarence Street, with Rev. Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
