MUISE, Donald “Rocky” Joseph Jr. – age 61, Yarmouth, passed away on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital after a short battle with cancer. Born June 17, 1957 in Yarmouth, he was a son of Marjorie E. Muise, Yarmouth, and the late Donald J. “Bucky” Muise. Rocky worked as a welder for Keith Greene Auto Repair. In his spare time, Rocky loved working on his Jeep, which he raced and did truck-pulls. Aside from his mother, Marjorie, he is survived by his wife, Karen (Bain) Muise, as well as by children, Donald J. Rice, Angela “Angie” Kerr and Jason Bain, as well as by six grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers and sisters, Irvin (Madge) Chatelois, Yarmouth; Carol (Alfred) Deveau, Salmon River; Jackie (Robert) Clive, Yarmouth; Kay (Allen) Goreham, Woods Harbour; Debbie (Greg) Bridgeo, Dartmouth and Marcel (Fleurette) Chatelois, Montreal. He was predeceased by his father, Donald J. “Bucky” Muise. Visitation took place from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, followed by the memorial service at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 7, all at H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, 29 Albert Street, Yarmouth, Rev. Mr. Stephen Bourque officiated. Interment took place in Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
