Clarence ‘Arch’ Archibald MacPhail

It is with heavy hearts that we, the family, regret to announce the passing of Clarence ‘Arch’ Archibald MacPhail, 79, of South Bar passed away Monday October 9, 2017 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
Born in Sydney, he was the son of the late Jack and Clara (MacDonald) MacPhail.
Arch was a member of St. Alphonsus Church. He worked for CN Rail years ago and various jobs since.
Arch is survived by his sister, Marjorie Landry, South Bar, and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by sisters, Connie King and Kay Tighe; brothers, Earl and John, and special nephew, Buddy Tighe.
Funeral service will be held in Sydney Memorial Chapel Friday, October 13, 2017 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment in St. Alphonsus Cemetery.
