Sidney “Ross” Kennedy, February 6, 1942 – October 9, 2017.
After a lengthy illness, Ross passed away on Monday, October 9, 2017 in Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow.
Ross is survived by wife, Irene (Weir), Middleton; son, Dewayne Kennedy, Truro; sisters, Avis Tufts, Shubenacadie and Wenda Andrews, Stewiacke; brothers, Laurie (Doris), Hilden and Orland (Verna), Pleasant Valley.
He was predeceased by parents, Elwood and Myrtle (Carter) Kennedy; brother, Leroy (Esther) Kennedy.
In keeping with his wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service by request. Private family interment will be held at a later date in Lower Pleasant Valley Cemetery. If so desired, remembrances may be made to the Lower Pleasant Valley Cemetery. Arrangements are under the care of Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro.
