It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our dear sister, aunt and friend, Mary Hiscott, age 69, on Thursday, October 12, 2017, at Alderwood Rest Home, Baddeck.
Born in North Sydney, on February 7, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Jeanette (Harvey) Hiscott. She enjoyed music, dancing, travelling and spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by two sisters, Linda Hiscott and Colleen Hiscott, both of North Sydney; three brothers, Michael Hiscott, North Sydney, Gerald Hiscott and Jack (Betty Ann) Hiscott, both of Dartmouth; seven nieces and nephews, and several grand nieces and nephews.
A graveside committal service will take place at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Sydney with Rev. Patrick O’Neill officiating.
