It is with broken hearts that the family of Vera Mary Andrews announce her passing on October 21, 2017 at age 55. Vera passed away at the Labrador West Health Centre in Labrador City, NL surrounded by her loving family. Vera was born in Buchans, NL on December 1, 1961 but her heart was in Wabush, Labrador where she married, raised a family, and gained a large circle of friends. She was a loving, spirited woman who will be missed by many. Leaving to mourn are: her husband Sam; children Chantal (Jonathan) and Justin (Chantelle); beautiful grandchildren Reese, Colby, Rowyn and Kyle; and a large circle of sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins. She is predeceased by her parents, Samuel & Vera Lannon, and sister Frances Lannon of Bishop’s Falls, NL.
Donations can be made in Vera’s memory to the Daffodil Place in St. John’s, NL. Visitation to take place on Thursday, October 26 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place on October 27 at 11 a.m. at the Basilica of Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Labrador City.
